"I will spend most of my life and eternity knowing my children as adults,
but for a few short years I have the privilege of knowing them as children."

Hayden's Baptism Day

Hayden's Baptism day was postponed a month because we were out of town and then our Bishop was out of town. So August 18th became his special day. Most of Clint's family was able to be there along with some friends from the ward. The service turned out really nice and everything went smoothly. Afterwards we served some of Hayden's favorite treats: chocolate texas cake and no-bake cookies. I wanted to get a picture of the whole family together, but by the time I was ready, the boys had their ties off, shirts un-tucked and were running around the building. Sigh....
We're very proud of you Hayden!

First Day of School

School starts early around here and my kids were not excited when 8:00 am on August 8th came so soon.
Well, maybe they were a little bit excited. Kyle is now in 5th grade, Hayden is in 3rd grade and Jared is in all-day Kindergarten.
I didn't cry this year, but that's only because I avoided Hayden when he started to get emotional. I let Clint deal with him while I stayed with Jared who was super excited to be starting school. They all have great teachers and I think this will be a terrific year for all of them. After the bell rang, Clint and I took the little ones out to breakfast to celebrate.

Double Digits

Kyle turned 10 in August. Can you believe it? He got some fun presents from the family - his favorite was Harry Potter Scene It. Then we celebrated at Deedum and Papa's house where he got a birthday cake and his favorite candy all in one! And a few days later he invited a whole bunch of his friends over for a party. The noise level in our house was at an all-time high that night!

Happy Birthday Kyle!!
