Happy Easter!

The kids had a great time at the Ward Easter Egg Hunt and then had more fun with another egg hunt in Deedum and Papa's backyard. I think we have enough candy to last until next Easter.









We also had a fun time at the Easter Pageant (well, Hayden didn't like it because he doesn't like anything loud) and all the kids fell asleep before it was over, but Clint and I had a good time. Maybe we'll leave the kids home next year.

Jared and the Cardiologist

Jared and I spent the morning at the Pediatric Cardiologist's office today. Last week at his well-check, his pediatrician detected a heart murmur and decided he needed further evaluation. So we went and they did an EKG (Jared loved his "special stickers") and then he was listened to by the PA and then the Cardiologist. Turns out he has 3 heart murmurs, but all of them are "innocent" and shouldn't cause any problems. They said the murmurs usually go away by the age of 6, so they want to see him again at age 4 and 6 to see how he's doing.

What a relief! Now we just have to get his lab work done, which he is not going to like. He's still mad at me for letting them poke him in the arm last week. Drawing blood is going to freak him out.

This is how we spent our time in between sessions of Conference on Saturday. It really wasn't warm enough to be playing in the water, but the kids loved it anyway.

Boys-Only Trip To Disneyland

Clint and his friends, Dave and Todd, decided to go to Disneyland with their oldest boys, Kyle, Josh and Matthew. Looks like they had a lot of fun (and I'm almost done being bitter about not being able to go with them).

Haydenism

The past few days Hayden has been using Mega Bloks to make all kinds of spaceships and guns. Today he came at me with two purple and green guns blazing and said, "These can shoot anything you can put in a gun. Bullets, missiles, lasers, ...and watermelons!"

What I Love About Jared

The hat is on backwards, the shirt is inside-out, no pants of course (but at least he's kept his diaper on for once) and the boots are on the wrong feet.
All so he can play soccer in the living room.

Two Months Already!

She smiles all time and has just started laughing, but I couldn't get her to do either one while I had the camera out. Then Jared saw the camera and made himself the center of attention.
