Three
My baby boy turned three this week. Happy Birthday Jared!

Not the best week to get pink eye. Poor guy! But we still had fun. He got to go to Krispy Kreme and get his birthday doughnut, and he got a giant Mickey Mouse balloon, and he also got sour gummy worms, so he was a happy boy! We love you Jared!

Allison Had A Birthday!
Unfortunately I haven't figured out how to upload pictures on our laptop, and our main computer is still in the construction zone and I don't like to be in there for too long. So you'll just have to wait until later to see her party pictures. But I do have her JCPenney pictures (although they're just the proofs, so the quality isn't that great.) Isn't she a doll?

Happy Halloween
I guess I better get these pictures posted before Halloween gets too far behind us.
In case it isn't obvious, Kyle was a Red Ninja:
Hayden was the Saddest Pirate Who Ever Lived:
Jared was the Pirate Who Couldn't Keep His Hook Out Of His Mouth:
Allison was Snow White: (See, what did I tell you about Jared!)
And then she was Minnie Mouse (because it was a warmer costume):
Can you tell Allison had fun at the Trunk-or-Treat? Look at those tired eyes!
This was the extent of our Halloween decorations. Notice how I, uh, intentionally left all that dust on the piano to make it more spooky looking? Yeah, that's what I did...
And we had fun carving pumpkins:

Happy Halloween from the Kober Kids!
This post was brought to you by Fisher Price Geo Trax Trains (because it has kept Jared and his friend busy for the past hour so I could get these pictures uploaded). Thank You!

Food Storage Analyzer
Did you know there's a cool new tool to help you analyze your food storage? I just used it and was reminded of just how much food storage we don't have. For example, our amount of cereals, grains and pastas would last us for 25.17 days. That's not entirely surprising since I haven't really purchased any long-term storage items since we moved to Arizona. And we've added two kids since then. You can also enter grocery store canned food (which is more of what we have) and ours will last us 31.26 days. It also lets you put in the quantities of what you would like to buy and gives you the cost. It's a pretty neat tool. I need to be more focused on our food storage and this is a great way to help me keep it all figured out.

Notice!
Hayden has been quite upset with me lately because he was just positive that while he wasn't home, I let someone into our house who had a cat, and I let the cat play on his bed, and now it's covered in cat fluff, and of course he can't sleep there because he's "allergic" to cats and he just gets itchy and sneezy when he lays down.
So he posted this on our front door to make sure it never happens again.
Looks like we need to work on his capital 'N.'
P.S. Just between you and me, I'm pretty sure the "cat fluff" was a result of Jared eating popcorn on Hayden's bed.

Jared's Stitches
*Kind of graphic pictures ahead. Feel free to skip this post*
Jared wanted us to get a picture of his stitches and his "bandaid." We have to change the bandage twice a day so he has fun picking out what color he wants next. (FYI: you can only get the colored bandages at the pet stores.) He walks on his tip-toes and has gotten quite fast running that way too. The doctor says it's healing really quickly and he can get the stitches out on Saturday. Yay!
Edited to add: Jared is a legend down at the Pediatric Urgent Care. When we went in for his "wound check" on Monday, the guy that took his vitals said, "Oh, is this the boy who severed his artery? The doctor told me all about him." Yep, he's that boy!
